Luna Lighhht

A warm welcome, I’m Luna Lighhht a proud queer neurodivergent intuitive womxn and a neuro-affirming soul therapist.

My superpower is my intuition through a highly sensitive nervous system, allowing me to finally thrive in life (I feel like I’ve finally arrived at my authentic self). This strength also allows me to connect with open people easily by being aware to the nuances of energy and wisdom around me. In order for this to turn into my superpower, I had to learn to heal and be curious to feel safe enough to learn and play with it. That has not always been easy in my lifetime but I am pleased to say that and my compassion are my greatest strengths!

My soul purpose is to assist in my community of other neurodiverse or highly sensitive womxn on their spiritual journey’s. After spending decades in both the clinical and spiritual worlds assisting clients, I had my ahhhha moment where I can finally integrate both. I understand how hard it is to feel you don’t belong here, not want to be here or to try to thrive in a world that doesn’t feel like its designed for us, one where you have to mask to survive and you can loose yourself in the process. This is why I am so passionate about assisting other ND sensitive womxn, navigating their way through life too; arriving at authenticity.

I am happily married to my wife (Mel) of 5 years and we have two fur babies Maxie (dog) and Oskahhh (cat). I love spending quiet days at home together just being in their company. Last year we moved to the Gold Coast and I love being so close to the beach, as it is one of my favourite places, where I feel calm and safe. I am highly introverted, a night owl and enjoy spending hours doing my portal of light ritual in my healing room, in trace, dancing, channeling, healing, reflecting and playing my singing bowls. I have morphed my life to better align with the flow of nature, the seasons and moon phases and I have found this to be profoundly healing.

As I am curious about life and human behaviour (and I don't really sleep) I have studied a lot, so my credentials are listed below. I had a clinic where I was a positive psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, the majority of my clients being neurodivergent womxn experiencing anxiety/phobias/identity challenges. Prior to that I worked as a provisional psychologist and in various roles in the disability sector, mainly with youth/young adults. The last 4 years I've had the honour of being a lecturer, teaching psychology & counselling subjects to emerging professionals at an undergraduate and masters level.

I’ve also been a professional psychic, healer and workshop facilitator in the spiritual community for the last decade alongside my clinical roles and I love the diversity of our community and how we are celebrated for our sensitivity and differences. This has helped me heal and be proud to call myself ND and highly sensitive!

During all this I was a hairdresser of 25 years and had my own part time home salon and created my own natural haircare range. I cannot physically do hair anymore (especially since menopause has arrived) yet I’ll always be grateful as it supported me through a decade of study, gave me the confidence to be able to connect with anyone and allowed them to feel good with great hair and a debrief in my salon chair.

I hope this is enough insight into my world that you can feel some sort of connection or enough to start to feel safe in this space with me. I am registered and insured with IICT as Luna Mason (International Institute for Complimentary Therapists) and work as a private practice.
